Modular stainless steel shielding for the food industry

On 1st of January 2012, NTF Aalborg A/S and Troax AB commenced a global partnership regarding stainless steel safety protection. Troax AB will market and sell NTF Aalborg’s stainless steel protective mesh under the name “NTF Aalborg by Troax”.
High quality complete solution
In recent years, Troax AB has been scanning the market for safety protection in stainless steel in order to offer its customers a complete solution. Troax has rejected previous requests of this type as the options failed to meet the same high standards as the rest of the range.

NTF Aalborg’s patent-pending modular stainless steel shielding is suitable for the food industry’s strict hygiene standards and satisfies DS / EN ISO 13857-2008 / ISO 14120 and the new Machinery Directive 2006/42.
Hygienic design – easy to clean. A typical installation consists of posts, mesh and doors without any horizontal surfaces, allowing water and dirt to easily run off. The system exclusively uses open posts made from EN 1.4301 stainless steel, which not only protects against rust but also eliminates bacterial traps and makes cleaning simple and hygienic.

“NTF Aalborg has developed a highly flexible and modular stainless steel system for the food industry’s needs for machinery protection and which also meets the industry’s safety and hygiene requirements. The system offers savings in terms of time and costs for both installation and maintenance,” explains Tommy Søndergaard, CEO at NTF Aalborg A/S.
The partnership between Troax and NTF Aalborg began with thorough testing of the system, which is now a natural extension of Troax’s existing range.
